"Stronghold Legends," a real-time strategy (RTS) game created by Firefly Studios, is the most recent addition to the popular Stronghold series. It presents a distinctive fusion of historical narratives from antiquity, military combat, and legend. It was introduced in 2006. Unlike its predecessors, "Stronghold Legends" strays from historical reality by include mythological figures such King Arthur, Count Vlad Dracul, and Siegfried of Xanten.

Three different campaigns, each themed around one of these amazing characters, are available for players to select from in this game. For example, King Arthur's campaign explores the Arthurian legends, involving the Knights of the Round Table and the Holy Grail. However, the story of Count Vlad Dracul delves into the enigmatic and sinister realm of vampires, lending a gothic touch to the classic Stronghold gameplay. Not to mention, the Siegfried of Xanten campaign whisks players away to thrilling dragon-slaying adventures and Teutonic legend.

In order to repel opposing attacks, players must acquire resources, oversee their economy, and strengthen their castles.
